Error:  Connecting to Portal for ArcGIS with Collector for ArcGIS on Windows returns error message ‘Invalid client_id’

After entering a Portal for ArcGIS url, an error message is returned indicating an invalid client ID, as shown below.


【错误原因】
Portal for ArcGIS 10.3 and 10.3.1 secured with OAuth2 do not currently support Collector for ArcGIS on the Windows platform.

Earlier versions of Portal for ArcGIS do not currently acknowledge the recently released Collector for ArcGIS on Windows as a valid Portal for ArcGIS application. This includes Built-In and enterprise logins with SAML.

Portal for ArcGIS installations that use other methods to secure a portal, such as IWA, LDAP, or PKI, are not affected. See
