Problem:  10.1 clients cannot connect to the License Manager

问题描述
10.1 clients cannot connect to the License Manager but 10.2 clients can.

原因
If the client is set for IPv6 only, ArcGIS Administrator 10.1 cannot find the License Manager.

To determine if IPv6 is the cause, perform the following steps.

1. Open a command prompt window.
2. At the command prompt type:


tracert <LM_Server_Name>
3. Press Enter.

This should return the path to the License Manager along with the IPv4 address. If it returns the IPv6 address only, go to the site below and run the Microsoft utility to set the IPv4 over IPv6.
